Habitat for Humanity does not work on Mondays. Mike and Jen scrambled all morning to find us "odd jobs." We hung around the camp for a couple hours playing charades, basketball, and getting to know each other. The Sheehan vs Lyman Hall rivalry does not exist down here... The groups is becoming friendlier and tighter as the trip progresses. We got news that there were odd jobs to be done and split up in to 5 groups. Groups went to an elementary school, a middle school, a high school, a community center, and a cemetery. We worked at these sites until about 2 or 3 and then congregated at the cemetery for the last 2-3 hours of work. We returned to camp around 5 and proceeded to scarf down another delicious meal. The rest of the evening consisted of more cards, dice, board games, basketball, and hanging out...

Many students continued their volunteering when we got back to camp by writing up some journal entries. Click on the links below to view some student journal entries and descriptions of today.
